Chica is an excelent photographer who is improving day by day, you can clearly see it in the progress shown in the fphotographs she has been taking. Now she is also exploring digital art, computer manipulation of photographs which can result in excelent effects, I like her work.
Ths five photographs I'm showing are among my favorites. In her self portraits, she shows herself as a pensive and peaceful girl, she lies naked under de afternoon sun, enjoyint its rays and warmth. In the photographs showing her reflexion in the top of a coffee pot and in a broken mirror, she shows her creativity. An finally, and surely my favorite of all her photographs is where she dives in a pond at dusk. I've always been fascinated by sunsets, with their constant shift in colors, lights and shadows. I beleive that in a sunrise or a sunset we can perceive the real impermanence of things, how nothing is really permanent or fixed, of how everything changes constantly, from one instant to the other.
In her blog, Chica also shares with us her adventures in this life, roaming around in her van naked before the world, in body and soul. The trips in her van remind me of the adventures of Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters in the sixties, in their famous psychedelic bus, living live in a trip (life itself) experiencing experimental experiences from moment to moment trying to be totally in the here and now; and their famous phrase that applied both to their lifestyle and life in general. “Either you're on the bus or off the bus”.

Hoy les voy a mostrar algunas de las fotos originales que aparecen en el blog de Chica and her Van.
Chica es una excelente fotógrafa que va mejorando día a día, esto se puede ver claramente en el avance que muestran las fotos que ha ido tomando. Ahora también esta explorando el arte digital, la manipulación por computadora de fotografías con las que se pueden lograr excelentes efectos, me gustan sus trabajos.
Las cinco fotos que les muestro se encuentran entre mis favoritas. En sus autoretratos se muestra como una chica pensativa y apacible, toma el sol desnuda por la tarde, disfrutando sus rayos y su calor. En las fotos en las que se ve su reflejo en la tapa de una cafetera y en un espejo roto, nos muestra su creatividad. Y finalmente la que seguramente es mi preferida de todas las fotos que ha sacado es en la que se zambulle en un estanque al atardecer. Siempre me han fascinado las puestas de sol, con sus constantes cambios de colores, de luces y de sombras. Considero que en un amanecer o en un ocaso podemos percibir la verdadera impermanencia de las cosas, como nada es realmente permanente o fijo, sino que todo cambia constantemente, de un instante a otro.
En su blog, chica también comparte con nosotros sus aventuras en esta vida, deambulando en su van, desnuda ante el mundo, en cuerpo y alma. Los viajes en su camioneta me recuerdan las aventuras de Ken Kesey y los Merry Pranksters en los años sesentas, en su famoso camión psicodélico, viviendo la vida en un viaje (la vida misma) experimentando experiencias experimentales de momento a momento, tratando de estar totalmente en el aquí y ahora, y su famosa frase que se refería tanto a su estilo de vida como a la vida en general “Estás en el camión o no estás en él”.
